Piano Lessons

Piano is often the first instrument that comes to mind when thinking of music lessons. While the piano is often thought of a solo instrument, we encourage group pieces. Participating in regular concerts builds confidence as a pianist, and increase enjoyment of playing music with the guidance of your HSSM instructor.

With individual music lessons, you will work one-on-one with a long-time teacher and professional musician, to help develop basic to advanced skills, with opportunities to learn theory, sight-reading and ear training. The Suzuki Method prepare players for performances and can prepare for conservatory testing.

Based on the tradition of the Suzuki Method, students at The HSSM benefit from an approach designed to ensure their success as they transition from beginners to full-fledged musicians! The HSSM also provides ample opportunities to perform in its seasonal concerts.

Whether you are a beginner, have previous experience or preparing for post-secondary studies, The HSSM Piano Program can help achieve your goals!
