Registration Information
’Learning with Other Children’ is one of our Suzuki Principles
In addition to private lessons, children participate in regular group lessons and performances at which they learn from and are motivated by each other.
Unlike other schools, at The HSSM we include group lessons and performances in our private lessons fees because it is an important part of our program. Visit our Principles page for more information about this and other Principles of The HSSM.
How to Register
- When you know what instrument lessons you are interested in, call the office to allow our administrator to customize your lessons and answer any questions regarding teacher and student availability.

- Contact our office to finalize the payment process that is best for you, 905-519-4104.
Register for the 2026-2027 season
Family Discount
For families with 3 or more children, each having at least a ½ hour lesson, we will deduct $50.00 per term from the total family fee.
Referral Bonus
When you refer a student to HSSM and they register for lessons, you will receive a 1-time deduction of $50 on your next fee payment. Please let the office know of any referrals.
Instrument Rentals Available to Grow with Students
Our teachers/faculty are qualified to help choose an instrument size that is the best fit for students. Depending on availability, we have instruments at different sizes for rent, and we can exchange them as needed — as they grow.
Shared Lesson Time
Please ask office administrator for more details regarding the possibility of 2 or 3 siblings (beginners only and at the discretion of the teacher) sharing a lesson time.
