Spring Concerts include Norwood Park School French Cafe, St. Peters at Chedoke, Dundas Baptist Church, Peoples Church, Dundas Valley School of Art, Juravinski hospital opening, Hamilton Farmers’ Market.

Requests for HSSM students to play in the community are always welcome. Please contact the school for details.

Tuesday class – start is postponed due to insufficient enrolment. Names are being accepted for a waiting list.

Violinists start preparing for the year ahead and build a great repertoire. The review list for 2011-12 is found in the group lesson section of this website. Review all pieces up to the piece that you are currently preparing.
Pieces will be chosen from this list for community concerts and the Spring Concert.

Unfortunately the new parking management company has withdrawn the special parking rates for mall tenants. This means that we shall no longer be able to validate your tickets for the 2nd. half hour of parking. The rates are still very reasonable at $1.50 per half hour. Other parking options with free or lower rates do exist in the downtown area, it may be worth your while to invesigate other possibilities or take public transport which is a very convenient way to access downtown.

The HSSM is accepting students in all programmes for summer lessons or fall term admissions.

Many of our teachers have experience working with children with special needs. Adele Tasse, piano instructor,  is currently working toward her diploma in this field. We would be delighted to arrange an appointment to discuss your child’s needs.
