Flute

Danielle Musgrave-Bond, B.Mus., M.Mus.

A native of Hamilton, Danielle received her Bachelor of Music degree from Wilfred Laurier University and her Master of Music in Performance degree from Portland State University in Oregon. Her teachers have included David Gerry, Dr. Marilyn Shotola and Dr. Amy Hamilton. During her time in Oregon, Danielle performed in masterclasses for Amy Porter and Alberto Almarza. She has had much experience playing in wind ensembles, orchestras, flute choirs, chamber groups and opera orchestras, as well as accompanying various choral groups.  Presently, she plays flute and piccolo with the Oakville Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Hamilton as well as with the duo Passionato – a classical guitar and flute ensemble she formed with fellow HSSM faculty member Adam Michael.  Danielle has trained as a Suzuki teacher with David Gerry, Pandora Bryce, June Warhoftig, Kim Lorimier and Dorothy Jones and has completed a one-year internship with ECE teacher Sharon Jones.
